Speaking at “Compliance in China Business,” Frankfurt — October 7, 2025

On October 7, 2025, it will be an honor to speak at the “Compliance in China Business”
conference hosted by IHK Frankfurt am Main, bringing together experts to address current
challenges and opportunities for companies working with and in China.

Program highlights:

  • Welcome by Veronique Dunai, Head of the China Competence Center, IHK Frankfurt
    am Main.
  • Thomas Pattloch (Taylor Wessing): Innovation and protection of intellectual property
    in China.
  • Stefanie Eich (Deputy Director of Customs): CBAM and the legal framework for
    sourcing from China.
  • Ralph Vigo Koppitz (Rödl & Partner): Compliance for China managers, boards, and
    shareholders.

My slot will focus on de-risking in the semiconductor industry. Drawing on a recent study by Lüdtke Intelligence and Analytics, I will map key risk vectors across the semiconductor value chain and outline practical approaches European companies can adopt to strengthen resilience and governance.

I’m looking forward to engage with peers in Frankfurt and contribute to a practical,
forward looking dialogue on compliance and risk management in the China context.
